About InboxGoblin

InboxGoblin gives you a throwaway email inbox in one click: no account, no password, no strings. The goblin catches the spam so your real inbox doesn't have to.

Why we built it

Almost everything online wants your email before it'll let you in: a one-time download, a coupon, a "free" trial, a forum you'll visit exactly once. Hand over your real address and you inherit the newsletters, the "we miss you" nudges, and whatever happens when that site's list gets sold or leaked. InboxGoblin is the buffer: a temporary address you can give out freely and forget.

How it works

  • Name it. Type any name and it becomes a live address: anything@inboxgoblin.com.
  • Share it. Use it anywhere you'd rather not give out your real email.
  • Read it. Incoming mail shows up on the inbox page within seconds, then auto-deletes after 3 days.

What it's good for

  • Catching sign-up confirmations and one-time verification codes.
  • Trying a service without committing your real inbox.
  • Keeping marketing blasts and newsletters away from your main account.

What it's not

InboxGoblin is receive-only and public by design: anyone who knows an inbox name can read it. It is not a secure, private, or permanent mailbox, so don't use it for password resets, financial, medical, or any sensitive mail. See the FAQ and Privacy Policy for the details.
