Privacy Policy
InboxGoblin is a free, disposable email service. This policy explains what little data passes through it, how long it's kept, and how advertising on this site works.
No accounts, no identity
InboxGoblin has no sign-up, login, or password. We do not ask for your name, real email address, or any other identifying information to use the service.
Inboxes are public
Inboxes are "virtual", created simply by choosing a name. Anyone who knows or guesses an inbox name can view the messages in it. Disposable inboxes are therefore not private or secure. Do not use them for password resets, financial, medical, or any sensitive communication.
What we store, and for how long
- Incoming email. When a message is sent to an inbox name, we store the sender, subject, body, and basic metadata (size, whether it has attachments) so you can read it. Attachment files themselves are not stored.
- Automatic deletion. Every stored message is permanently deleted after 3 days. A cleanup task runs hourly; there is no backup, archive, or way to recover deleted mail.
- Operational logs. Our infrastructure provider may process standard technical logs (such as IP address and request data) to deliver and secure the service.
Cookies and advertising
This site displays ads to stay free. We use Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
- For more on how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps, see Google's policy.
We don't sell your data
We do not sell the contents of inboxes. Because there are no accounts, there is no profile to sell. Advertising is handled by Google under its own policies, linked above.
Children
InboxGoblin is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the date below.
